This
image of a sled dog peeking out of its kennel has won numerous
awards. Most recently, the image was awarded a Special Mention in the
prestigious 2005 Banff Mountain Photography Competition.
The dog
image was captured when I was walking through the "barking lot" at the
2005 Alberta International Sled Dog Classic at Spray Lakes above
Canmore.
